Ben Leo is the CEO and co-founder of Fraym, a geospatial data analytics company delivering highly granular population insights to inform policy, investment, and program decisions around the world. He previously served in senior economic and security roles at the White House and the U.S. Treasury Department, where he led major initiatives across Africa, including work on debt relief and vaccine financing.

Ben also spent several years as a Senior Fellow at the Center for Global Development, publishing widely cited research that helped shape legislation such as the Electrify Africa Act and the BUILD Act. Recognized as a leading voice on geostatistics and development policy, he continues to advance Fraym’s mission to “map humanity” through innovative data science and machine learning techniques.
