Maanav Jhatakia is the Chief of Staff at Energy Corps, where he supports the organization’s mission to advance responsible energy development through strong operations, governance, and strategic grantmaking. He helps develop internal operational and governance materials, conducts comprehensive reviews of grant applications and assesses technical outputs from grantees to verify consistency with Energy Corps’ impact priorities. Maanav brings a background in engineering, natural resource management, and policy analysis, with prior experience in water resource strategy and regulatory research. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and an M.S. in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology, and is passionate about enabling practical, evidence-based solutions in the energy and climate space.
